Does it cost anything to send an enquiry?

No. Submitting an enquiry is free and carries no obligation. Any fees for legal advice or representation are discussed directly with the attorney.

Is LARIA an emergency service?

No. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 112 first. You can still send an urgent legal enquiry, but a response cannot be guaranteed.

Does LARIA give legal advice?

No. LARIA routes your enquiry to a participating attorney. Lawryse is not a law firm, and only the attorney can advise you.

Will an attorney definitely take my matter?

It cannot be guaranteed. An enquiry does not automatically create an attorney-client relationship. The attorney may first need to confirm availability, conflicts, scope and fees.

How quickly will I hear back?

During office hours, expect a callback within 5 to 10 minutes. If you are not contacted within 10 minutes, your enquiry is rerouted to another participating firm. Outside office hours your enquiry is queued and you are told when routing will begin.

Will I get the attorney nearest to me?

Not necessarily. Location is one of several things LARIA considers, together with the practice area and availability, so the nearest attorney is not guaranteed.

What happens to what I write?

The description of your matter is deleted 30 days after your enquiry closes. Your contact details and the record of which firms were approached are kept for 5 years. An automated system reads your description only to work out the area of law and to check it for safety.
